An IQ covers all procedures relating to the installation of the instrument in the selected environment. It is a documented verification that all key aspects of software and hardware installation adhere to appropriate procedures and the approved design intentions of the manufacture. The execution of an Installation Qualification by our engineers establishes that the instrument is received as designed and specified. It also helps establish that the instrument is properly installed in the selected environment and that this environment is suitable for the operation and use of the instrument.
OQ is the process of demonstrating how an instrument will function, according to its operational specification in the selected environment. An Operation Qualification (OQ) is to be performed after the successful completion of the equipment or system's Installation Qualification (IQ). The OQ describes the operational tests, measurements, and control tolerances of key parameters that are critical for the proper operation of the equipment or system. This activity includes monitoring and evaluating operational data obtained from the instrument's indicators, gauges, and sensors.
PQ is defined as the process of demonstrating how an instrument consistently performs, according to a specification appropriate to its routine use. The Performance Qualification (PQ) is a documented verification of how the process related system performs throughout all anticipated operation ranges. This activity can be carried out by our Service Engineers and assures you of the complete validity of the equipment or systems we supply.
The Lab Unlimited Service Department provides fully documented IQ / OQ / PQ for a range of laboratory instruments. These include:
